People often ask me which town center is “the” town center in Central Park, Denver, CO. There are two, and they do different jobs. Here is how they compare, using the facts in my village guides for East 29th Ave and Eastbridge.
East 29th Avenue Town Center: the original main street
- Where: 29th Avenue and Roslyn Street, in the southern center of the neighborhood.
- What is there: local restaurants, coffee and shops facing Founders Green and the South Green, with the Sam Gary Branch Library on Roslyn Street.
- What happens there: the Central Park Farmers Market on Sunday mornings, roughly June through October, plus the MCA’s free Concerts on the Green and Movies on the Green in summer. Next up is Winter Welcome on Nov 20, with tree lighting at 6 PM, per the MCA calendar.
- Getting around: the 80-acre city park starts a short walk north, and Central Park Station on the A Line, to downtown Denver and Denver International Airport, sits just north of the park.
- The homes around it: the oldest in the neighborhood, from the early to mid 2000s, with deep front porches, alley-loaded garages, courtyard homes and townhomes, and two decades of street trees.
Eastbridge Town Center: the newer neighborhood hub
- Where: East 29th Drive, on the east side of the neighborhood near the Aurora line.
- What is there: restaurants, ice cream, a home shop, fitness and a salon. Cattivella, the Italian restaurant on East 29th Drive, is here.
- What is not there: a grocery store. The nearest King Soopers is on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Some older listings and articles say otherwise, so it is worth knowing before you buy.
- Getting around: Stanley Marketplace is about 5 minutes east, I-225 is close, downtown Denver is about 15 to 20 minutes west, and the Westerly Creek trails connect you to Founders Green and the rest of the trail system.
- The homes around it: built mainly in the mid 2010s, with single-family homes, paired homes and townhomes, much of it brick and traditional, plus some modern infill near the center.
How to choose between them
- Pick East 29th Ave if you want the settled, tree-lined version of Central Park, Denver, CO with the busiest event calendar at your door.
- Pick Eastbridge if you want newer construction without North End prices, a quieter town center for dinner and ice cream, and quick access to Stanley Marketplace and I-225.
- Either way, you are a bike ride from the other one on the trails.
Both villages pay the same Master Community Association assessment, $58 a month for a regular for-sale home in 2026, and some homes add sub-association dues or a metro district levy. Each village guide covers those costs in plain terms.
